From the very beginning, emphasis is put on the “professional” training of finger dexterity and coordination in contrast to mere memorization of fingerings. This lays the basis for conscious finger movements, which later enable specialties such as trills, glissandi, flattements etc. Depending on the children’s age, it is important to begin this training by playing games or by leading cognitive “training”.
