Puppets

Respiratory awareness

The children visit the backstage area of a puppet theater. How do puppets sit or lie down when nobody pulls their threads, i.e. when they are asleep? The children try out different positions. In this theater the figures backstage look very strange: their threads are tied in such a way that the figures are in a standing position, but their torso is bent over forward. When there is a gentle breeze, the arms move very slightly. Without the puppets noticing, the puppet master (teacher) arrives and pulls one puppet after another into an upright position. The puppets wake up and breathe the fresh morning air the coming behind the dusty stage through the open window. (Also possible to act out in pairs of puppet and puppet master.)
