Home made music folder by the children’s group at Folkwang Hochschule Essen

With Recorder Magic, the children do not receive a ready-made booklet, but compose their own personal music folder. Individual children’s sheets can be downloaded as pdf file. High-resolution prints can be purchased through early music im Ibach-Haus/Stephanie Göbel.

The children are thus able to collect the artistically designed children’s sheets in any ring binder along with additional pages chosen by the teacher. With the children’s own design and drawings added, they create highly individual folders documenting their own personal recorder path.

Aside from the children’s sheets mentioned in the lesson plan, there are also those that can be cut out into smaller cards featuring an image of an object on the front (“rain coat” for example) and the corresponding rhythm on the back.
